PC-Answers - Level 1 System Tune- $119.95 onsite - $99.95 in shop

The Level 1 System Tune covers most computers that are still running and exhibit signs of spyware but have current and up-to-date virus protection already installed. The basic tune includes:

1 - Check and remove unnecessary programs running in the background

2 - Download free* anti-spyware software and scan/clean system

3 - Install and configure a free* software firewall

4 - Provide training on keeping your system clean and teach internet safety tips

Approximate time needed on-site  -  60 to 90 minutes

PC-Answers - Level 2 System Tune - $149.95 onsite - $129.95 in shop


The Level 2 System Tune covers most computers that are running very poorly and do not have a current anti-virus installed. The system tune plus includes:

1 - Check and remove unnecessary programs running in the background

2 - Download a free* anti-virus program and scan/clean system

3 - Download free* anti-spyware software and scan/clean system

4 - Install and configure a free* software firewall

5 - Provide training on keeping your system clean and teach internet safety tips

Approximate time needed on-site  -  90 to 120 minutes


PC-Answers - Level 3 System Tune- $189.95 onsite - $129.95 in shop

The Level 3 System Tune covers most computers that are barely running and freeze often, have major pop-up ad problems and have severe virus and spyware infections. The super system tune includes:

1 - Check system operation and diagnose

2 - Consult with customer and determine critical data which must be backed up

3 - Return system to shop - back up all critical data which can be saved
(Note: systems with serious virus and spyware infections may experience  serious data loss. There is no guarantee that data can be saved after the system is infected)

4 - Repartition and format hard drive - reload all customer supplied software and restore recovered data onto the system

5 - Download a free* anti-virus program and scan/clean system

6 - Download free* anti-spyware software and scan/clean system

7 - Install and configure a free* software firewall

8 - Return computer to customer and provide training on keeping your system clean and teach internet safety tips

Approximate time needed on-site  -  2 trips - approximately 60 minutes on the first trip and approximately 30 minutes on the second return trip.

* NOTE: Free software can only be downloaded on home computers for personal use! Business users will need to purchase the appropriate software at additional costs!

On systems running Windows XP Home or Professional we will install Service Pack 2 for an additional $19.95 with any of the above services.
